Think of bespoke jewellery as commissioning an original artwork you can wear.

Bespoke means designed and made specifically for you. At Red Cloud Jewels, that means a one-of-a-kind piece shaped around your ideas and Wayne’s imagination and skill as a goldsmith.

The first conversation gives him a starting point. What are you drawn to? What do you want this piece to mean to you?

From there, the idea needs time to develop. As Wayne explains, part of the work is figuring out the right design and direction for that individual.

There are practical decisions behind the design, too. How will the proportions work? How will the stones sit? How can the piece be constructed so it feels comfortable to wear?

It takes imagination to develop the idea and technical skill to turn it into a finished piece of jewellery.

That whole process can take 3–6 months from the initial consultation, depending on the commission. The time includes working through the design as well as making the piece.

If you have a particular occasion in mind, mention it in your first conversation with Wayne so you can discuss a realistic timeframe.
