An orange sapphire brings a strong point of colour to this ring, paired with natural white diamonds that continue all the way down the band.

It is the contrast that gives the piece its character: rich colour at the centre, with clean white diamonds carrying the detail through the setting.

Every piece I create begins as an idea in my head.

That idea goes onto paper before it begins taking shape in metal. There is a lot of time and thought behind the process, especially when creating something personal that cannot simply be taken off the shelf.

When I create a new bespoke piece, there’s more to consider than the stone. I also need to develop the design and work out how to bring it to life.

Starting with a design from an existing collection means some of that planning has already been done. I’ve worked through the concept and how to make the piece before.

These two Astra rings show what that can look like. They share a design, but different gemstones and metals give each its own character.

An established starting point means less new planning, while the final piece can still be unique to you.

Back at the bench and officially up and running! 🔨✨

After a very busy few months with the move and setting up the new studio, it feels so good to finally be back doing what I love.

I’ve got a bit of a backlog to work through, so for the moment I won’t be taking on any new commissions until I’ve caught up with the current orders.

A handmade piece created a few years back — a rose and yellow gold cuff bracelet featuring a 5.50ct blue sapphire.
Every curve and detail was carefully crafted by hand, combining warmth, contrast, and bold colour in one unique design.
