Excited to share that I'm a finalist in the Northern Beaches Environmental Art and Design Prize.

My new work Net Loss will appear with 109 other finalists across the Art and Design category. More details on my work to come.

For the first time, all finalist works in both Art and Design will be shown together at Manly Art Gallery and Museum, making this a really special exhibition. Congratulations to everyone! I can’t wait to see all the work together in this special gallery.

My most recent market was such a special day and my fifth time taking part in Barangaroo Artisans 🤍

My favourite part of doing markets is always the conversations. Hearing how people connect with the my work, what draws them in, how they enjoy a piece they've bought before. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said Hello, or took a little piece of my studio home with you.

It means more than you know. Especially in a world that keeps telling us to buy more, spend less, and never mind how it's made. 🌿

Big thank you to .events for the lovely market pics.

I'm excited to share that Meraki Fire will be at the Barangaroo Artisan Market this coming Saturday 9 May, 10am–3pm. 🌿

Find me among over 70 stalls of beautiful handmade and artisanal wares — ceramics, jewellery, prints, produce, skincare and so much more. It's a gorgeous day out along Sydney's harbour, with free live music and plenty of delicious eats to keep you going.

I'd love to see you there. Come say hello. 🤍

A fresh batch of Meraki Fire has made its way to including one of a kind editions you won’t find on my site ✨

Note I’ve had to increase some prices in line with the increasing cost of sterling silver. You’ll also find the same on my website for gold filled pieces too. I resisted as long as I could. These precious pieces are worth it though 😊

I make things slowly. A bit like my posts these days 😉 But it’s always intentional.

It started with jewellery, then other objects came, just small dishes, vases. Little sculptural pieces.

My wall hangings emerged from my ceramic studies, and have kept me returning ever since. ✨
I’ve just refreshed my stock of the 3 and 5 piece wall hangings, and added this special 7 piece addition. An extension of my love for this turquoise glaze that emerged from a long period of development.

Each piece is formed and textured by hand, glazed with a brush, fired twice, and strung on natural cords. They take a long time. There is no AI shortcut. They’re worth it.

Just a little heads up that I’ll be closing my site to orders by the end of tomorrow (Wed 17 Dec).

Big thank you to all who have supported me this year. I’ve so loved seeing Meraki Fire out in the wild at markets and events this year, and feel grateful for the beautiful comments and messages I have received from my special customers.

Every little means such a lot xx.

Some deep greenie blues coming to this Sunday. 10am-6pm 7 December.

More pieces cooling in the kiln right now. I’m hoping for a good firing after I tweaked my kiln schedule this morning to try get the best out of 7 different glazes / glaze combos all vying for the perfect position in my little kiln 🤞 🤞 😬

I’ve added a few more pieces to my website, which debuted at recent markets. Lots of handmade gift goodness, hand crafted from start to finish.

Just a heads up that I’ve only got one more in person market left this year. Save the date!

I’ll be at the Artisans Market on Sunday 7 December - 10am to 6pm.
The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability, 2 Balls Head Drive, Waverton. Hope to see you there Sydney!

Blue Floral ceramic earrings, now on my site in sterling silver hook & stud versions. Plus of course, the original 14k gold filled hook version.

So happy these have been as popular as they are in my own earring rotation. I’m excited to carve some new bisque stamps in the coming weeks in a similar size, as it seems these are hitting the sweet spot for so many these days - not too little and not too big, but still full of sweet detail.

So much gratitude for all the lovely customers and comments received at   this weekend! I’m remembering so many special moments and interactions, and my only regret is that I didn’t get time to see enough of everyone else’s work.

Thank you so much Melody .ceramics and Samee  and for your amazing Mum Samee who was wearing my earrings all weekend long again! I think this is the third time!!

This market has always been so special, from its debut at Tramsheds to its move to bigger digs at Carriageworks, us makers always feel so chuffed to be in the midst of so many other amazing ceramicists, and to be supported by everyone who takes the time to attend.

Biggest thank you to my partner for his support over the weekend and the many hours spent in the lead up. I’m slowly working on photos of some of the pieces I have left, which have not yet reached my site. Happily our Cascade Lilly Pilly started blooming on Monday, and has made its debut in one of my porcelain vases 🌿
