The Gentle Edit - a cosy winter workshop for meaningful content. Thank you Southern Wild Co & Sophie Hansen | Food Writer | Orange NSW for a fabulous day full of styling wisdom, incredible insta tips, delicious food, fabulous people and laughter. For those feeling a little left behind in the ever moving world of Instagram reels Sophie Hansen offers wonderful lessons in what to do. From the obvious first step of making sure your phone camera lens is clean 😉, through to negotiating video edits, adding audio, tripods and accessories, the day was informative and well run. The lovely Tania from Southern Wild & Co was yin to Sophie's yang. For those unfamiliar with Tania's beautiful visuals pop onto her Instagram page. Her dark and moody socials are a beautiful tribute to the rough Australian wilderness and her candles a divine. The workshop was held at The Bank Atelier located in the National Trust historical village of Rockley, pop 180 and definitely worth the trip. We know comparison is the thief of joy, but it has been wonderful to watch the reels of some of the other participants Hayley Brigden | Storytelling through food Slow Folk ⚓️ LOMARRA | Botanical Cleaning Products 🙌

Dried poppy heads have their own form of natural beauty, quite different from the blousy allure they display in their flowering glory. Experimenting today with some in ice cubes, an Instagram tip, and some scattered. Mixture of glorious pinks gifted by and a mauve poppy bought from last year. Fingers crossed for spring 🤞

What a gem is! Well done team and everyone else involved. It is a glorious collaboration with something for everyone. Kick off your visit with a farm tour learning all about the regenerative farming methods employed, followed by a delicious coffee and pastry, wander though the library, perhaps a pre lunch palate cleansing gelato, make a craft crown, learn about bees, walk through the wonderful kitchen garden and lunch at the cafe. A must see for a trip to the Southern Highlands. And the secret every Highlander knows is that mid week is the time to visit and explore. So come and stay in The Potting Shed and let your adventure begin.
