New brooch available!

I love the embroideries of May Morris who is so much more than simply the daughter of William. I designed this Arts and Crafts inspired brooch based on a bird motif in one of her works.

Brass is such a fun metal to work with and raising the copper slightly gave the brooch a rose gold reflection, which is a nice nod to her pink threads.

I went full silversmith on the Fabled Magazine blog! And also designed the fairy-tale rings, which was awfully fun. I’m not the most precise with design sketches, but it’s interesting to attempt to capture the fairy-tale descriptions in a ring.
