Exciting news!! Sparkes Jewellers Moree has arrived in Stanthorpe. With the the town left without a jeweller Stephen and Robyn Sparke felt strongly that their regional roots forged in Moree and Goondiwindi would be able to something to this bustling town in the Queensland Granite Belt! Their new shop opened this week!
Their manager, Stanthorpe local Ariael will on hand to look after things day to day but rest assured Stephen and Robyn will be regularly dropping through! Please make them feel welcome on our side of the border.

Sometimes you just have to be lucky to have been in the room when something special happens! For our GM Grant Robert Menzies at it was at Tuesday's Business South Bank(BSB) CEO function.

Stephen Conry AM, Chair, Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA) address was nothing short of inspirational.
Stephen shared his personal role in helping the Government secure the land for Expo ’88, which ultimately became the legacy of South Bank Parklands.

He spoke about the challenges, the doubters, and the vision and tenacity required to see transformational projects through. That same vision an tenacity is going to be needed to deliver Brisbane 2032.

Gant's favourite take away was that the new stadium will not be named for a corporate entity but simply known as "Stadium Brisbane" so every time it is mentioned it will be reflective of our great city!

Well done Janine Watson for delivering another outstanding BSB event!
