Mintabie Opal - Old Field.
These interesting opals came from our very first mine at Mintabie, ‘Spooky’s claim’.
(You can read all about it in the blog on our website (chapters 9 and 10). It took a week to dig the pocket out and cemented our future at Mintabie.
That was way back in 1980 and these three were cut last week.
