Every day in Logan, native animals are injured on our roads, caught by pets, or displaced by development. Right now, there is no dedicated wildlife hospital in Logan.

That means our domestic vets are carrying the load — at their own expense — treating everything from koalas to lorikeets. They’ve done an incredible job, but it’s not sustainable. Our wildlife deserves specialist care, close to home.

Over the school holidays I got to meet all of my Australian animal earrings in real life at Australia Zoo!

I was so lucky to try out UV printing acrylic during my work experience with Lazer Universe and it was such a fun process!

Aren’t laser cutters so cool?

Last week I had the amazing opportunity to do work experience with Lazer Universe, learning about all of their processes as well as using their epic laser cutters!

Safe to say I spent the entire week fangirling over the process behind how my own earrings get cut.

I’ve been getting my earrings laser cut by Lazer Universe since I first began my business over four years ago! The team are such kind and talented people and I’m so grateful to have worked with and learnt from them.

Today I visited the Logan Wildlife Association at the Logan Eco Action Festival to donate the proceeds from my Australian animals collection!

I donate $5 from every pair of Australian animal earrings I sell to the Logan Wildlife Association and today I got to donate $150 to put towards their efforts.

It can be hard to contribute to important efforts like this especially as a student below the age requirements for most volunteer work, so I’m very happy to provide a little bit of help to those helping our wildlife.
