Like it or hate it, in the professional world, LinkedIn can be the first impression that someone has of you and your business. π
While LinkedIn has certainly evolved from the exclusive networking or 'online CV' tool it originally was, it still has value in giving you another space where you can control the narrative about yourself and your business.
β‘οΈ What makes a good LinkedIn profile?
For an individual, within seconds someone should be able to know: who you are, what you do, and why they should connect with you.
Instead of just your position, consider adding some context about the specific value you add to the role. Make sure your profile picture is clear and well-lit (and actually looks like you right now. Catfishing is never a good idea!)
For your business, answer this question for anyone who's visiting your page: Is this a business I want to work with?
What makes you the best business in your industry for people to choose? Who are your clients/customers? Not only do you want to attract the right customers, you don't want to waste time with people who are never going to buy your services.
If your LinkedIn profile is not a glowing reflection of you, let's chat. We'll have a look and get you back in the inner circle in no time! π€
