Zoisite, Tanzanite. “The gemstone was given the name 'tanzanite' by Tiffany & Co. after Tanzania, the country in which it was discovered”. Cabochons with deep violet colour saturation. Gemstone hardness 6 - 6.5 and a unique trichroic gem.
It is said to be a good stone to wear or have near in situations where you need a calming and soothing presence. -a
