Valuing requires in-depth knowledge of different manufacturing techniques.
Lost wax casting is one of the oldest—and most precise—techniques in jewellery making.
Every piece begins with a model, created either using CAD/CAM technology and 3D printed in wax, or meticulously hand-carved by a skilled artisan.
The wax model is then encased in a special plaster investment and heated until the wax burns away, leaving a perfect cavity. Molten precious metal is poured into this space, creating a casting that faithfully captures every detail of the original design.
A centuries-old process, refined by modern technology, and still at the heart of exceptional custom jewellery.
