WAKE UP

Collective Reading for Today

Dearest Beloveds,

There is a Tree that is All.

Its branches carry the green of living things and the fruit of our legacy, ripening from roots older than memory. Beneath it stands a house of heavy blue stone, built so intimately around the roots that one cannot tell whether the Tree grew through the house or the house was built to keep the Tree from leaving.

I saw a child climbing there.

She was holding on fine with her old heartache, going as well as she could. There was something tender in the way she climbed, the quiet competence of a child who learned to carry sorrow without troubling anyone with its weight.

Until today.

Today we ask her:

How are you?

And this is where I saw her falling.

Her hands simply let go.

Sometimes being seen is enough to undo the strength we invented in order to survive.

From the East came an icy-gold wind. It entered the leaves and set the branches shivering, carrying a voice so faint it could have been mistaken for memory.

Wake up. Wake up.
There is a darkness here that is so chilly.
Notice.

And then came the words I did not expect.

She’s haunted by you.

The child is not the ghost.

We are.

We haunt her with the life we built above her sorrow. With rooms we furnished and called home. With chairs tucked beneath ancestral tables, loyalties we never questioned, and suffering inherited so quietly we mistook repetition for destiny.

This is our karmic legacy.

Not punishment.

Inheritance.

The unfinished business of love and cruelty, abandonment and silence, devotion and grief, travelling through the blood until someone becomes conscious enough to say:

It ends with me.

There are places within us that resemble hell only because they have remained without light for so long.

It is time for something to die.

Not us.

The agreement.

The allegiance to suffering. The belief that because pain belonged to those before us, we must preserve it as proof that we belonged to them.

We do not honour our ancestors by continuing their wounds.

The fruit falling from our Tree should not become a debt our children must pay. It was meant to be abundant. It was meant to nourish.

Sometimes we feel the pain of everyone.

Then we feel nothing.

Do not mistake this emptiness for absence. There are terrains within the psyche that cannot be crossed by force. Our Mother knows this. She knows when to bury the seed in darkness and when to call it toward the sun.

Let her teach us how to make a home again.

A home founded in confidence, devotion and vision, spacious enough for the human and the Divine to sit at the same table.

Today, take the life force back into your body.

Make sacred space.

October gives the child stained glass through which to look into the darkness, allowing what once appeared black to reveal its hidden colours.

Scorpio listens beneath the blue-stone house, for what moves beneath the floorboards, for the unnamed thing within the psyche that has waited generations to tell us its name.

These are the places we call our Blocks.

Sometimes a Block is simply an old story waiting to be heard.

Karmic legacy is waiting, not to condemn us, but to be completed.

Relinquish your fear of a future that has not yet arrived. Let devotion become stronger than fear and vision reach farther than inheritance.

And somewhere among the branches, find the child.

Do not tell her to be strong.

Do not ask her to keep climbing.

Ask her how she is.

When the East wind moves through the leaves again, listen.

Dearest Beloveds,

Who do you think you are?

I am not your ghost anymore. I survived each discovery, collecting the pieces of my heart and tending to the jar of hearts I kept so devotionally beside my soul.

I have grown too strong to stay in half a life.

I hear you calling my many names, yet I am nowhere to be found. It took so long to put the light of stars back into my promises.

Evolution asks many things of us. Trials and tribulations take us through cold corridors, unfamiliar rooms and worlds where the enormity of being human can overwhelm us.

How do you meet your own heartbeats, especially the ones that were not brave, that refused to fall, fail, doubt or enter solitude?

We have died so many times we rarely remember the lives that stood before this one, or the incarnations courageous enough to breathe us towards this moment. Success becomes ours when we remember that regret is merely a ghost living half a life. Even regret can be liberated through our evolution, one question, one truth, one breath at a time.

We have travelled lifetimes because we love. Seeking, remembering, knowing that time has brought us here through the scars and the long history of collecting pieces of our precious hearts. We remember the pieces of our heaven we gave away, and the ache of longing for them back home.

When everything is meant to be broken, we resist the strange success hidden within the tears, the lies, regrets and misunderstandings. We encounter the paradox of being in this world, but not entirely of it.

Dearest Human, our nature belongs to the wheel of life.

As we learn to trust our divine and eternal knowing, we remember that the broken pieces of our hearts become lanterns, illuminating each breath along the journey. We are being asked to remain in our honesty, to listen, to feel and to honour our own lovely natures, even amongst secrets, convincing faces and the lies we once believed.

Nobody said it was easy.

It is the exquisite feeling of human emotion that carries us back towards the stars, more whole, more sovereign, only to forget it all again when we enter another human life, longing once more for the expression of Love.

We run in circles when we move around the wheel exactly as we did one Dreamtime ago. It is supposed to be a revolution. It is supposed to haunt us, frighten us and break our hearts. Yet within it also lives innocence, giggles, worship, power, surrender and the beautiful contradictions of human nature.

It is called life.

Today we are rediscovering evolution through remembering, life after life, until overwhelm becomes a challenge contributing to our growth. Only then can we truly enter the mystery of being human.

It has taken lifetimes to put the lights back into our promises, to meet the void of pure potentiality, that blank canvas carrying us through parades, thresholds, endings and beginnings.

May all your tears bring you into another Love.

Choose not to remain inside the hurt, fighting with broken hands. Use your voice, your song, your heart that still knows how to love.

Another Love. Another incarnation. Love meeting Love through new stories.

Let go, dearest Stars, Queens and Kings. Honour the crying. Honour the falling. Honour the Love that is eternal.

Begin again.

Learn to trust, to sense, to burn brightly within the soul of your Golden Child.

Our light is honest. We are lovers in the night who may have forgotten how to run, yet still remember how to fly towards the thought of finding the sun together.

I have not forgotten you.

Continue choosing the authority of your own words.

Goodbye is another opportunity to remember who we once were. The whole memory does not disappear. We remember Love through the evolution of saying yes to the initiations and challenges of human experience.

We can flourish within the escalation of living a human life.
