Recently made some gold hoops with repurposed gold. I haven’t made a hoop hinge like this before so it was nice to have a play with the tension and get the fitting just right! Special thanks to Kate Higgins - Custom Jeweller at Eli Speaks Jewellery who let me pop in and use her draw bench - drawing down thick wire is so hard/impossible without a crank!

A couple of matchy not matchy for a couple of cutie sisters - a cloud for Claudija and some wavy curves for Freya with matching sapphires. Both handmade with recycled childhood gifts of gold and silver. So cute!
