Same spoon pattern.
Three completely different rings. 🤎

These were all made from vintage Rowbotham & Co spoons but I decided to play around and see just how different I could make each one.

One became a wrap ring, with the old pattern winding around the finger.

One became a simpler band style ring, keeping that gorgeous original detail.

Ad the third a big, bold saddle ring, using the spoon in a way that really shows it off.

This is one of my favourite things about working with old silverware.

Give me three spoons from the same set and I don’t see three identical pieces of jewellery.

I see three different possibilities.

Same old spoons. Same history. Three completely different personalities.

This is why I love what I do❤️

Anne gave me a spoon and fork from her childhood, both still engraved with her name.

Instead of leaving them tucked away in a drawer, she asked me to turn them into something she could wear.

The handles became her bracelet, the fork became a quirky keyring and then there was the spoon bowl …..

Anne also had a threepence from her year of birth, a gift from her sister. It already had meaning, so I put the coin with the spoon bowl and turned it into a necklace.

Childhood cutlery, her name still there. A birth year coin from her sister. Now all part of one story she gets to wear.

Old things that already have a story, just given a new chapter ❤️

All made by hand.
All carrying a little bit of history.
And every single one in a one off.

🚨 TOWNSVILLE MEGA MARKET HEADS UP 🚨

Getting in early with this because I know so many of you come looking for me in November…

Molly Made WON’T be at the Mega Market this year. 😭

For a very good reason though, I’ll be off on a family cruise 🛳️🍹😂

I’ll remind you all another 47 times before November, because I really don’t want anyone wandering around looking for me. 😂

Well… this is how it started 😂

16 cuffs, a broken leg and absolutely no bloody idea what I was doing.

I was sh****ng myself.
Anxiety at an all time high, saying “f**k” a lot 😂

Then somebody stopped.

They picked up a cuff.
Read the words.
Smiled.

And bought it.

And that was the moment I thought…

S**t.

Maybe I CAN do this.

And apparently I could. 😂❤️
