Where the Dancers Gather

In the heart of the tropics where soft waters flow,
Where marigold petals in warm breezes glow,
A woman moves barefoot through twilight and grace,
Her spirit in rhythm, her breath in its place.

Zills on her fingers, they shimmer and chime,
Tiny gold voices that echo through time.
Drumming like heartbeats beneath fading skies,
Calling the circle where joy gently flies.

They come with soft laughter and light in their eyes,
In costumes that shimmer like sunlit tides.
With silver, coins, and bright beads that gleam,
Each piece a memory, a prayer, a dream.

They dance in the clearing where memories rest,
With joyfulness blooming in every chest.
With every spin, with each sacred sway,
They honor the friendships that brighten each day.

Kindness is woven through every embrace,
Gratitude shining on each open face.
They twirl through the night, beneath endless stars,
Their hearts beating steady, humble and ours.

Here in this haven where calm beauty grows,
Where spirit and sisterhood endlessly flow,
They dance for the earth, for the light and the rain,
In the heart of the tropics, where gratitude will remain.

This is ME.... I had a dream 12 months ago that I wanted to buy a van and take off.... I wanted to bring my mumma bear on an adventure and sprinkle her on my way at places she never got to visit. It's bitter sweet really. I am so thankful for the hard work and dedication to make this dream a reality.

One van one husband one mumma bear and kilometres of dust, landscapes, water and time for reflection and release.

Meeting interesting people along the way, keeping life simple.

We leave Qld tomorrow and into the NSW boarder into Lightening Ridge. The rustic charm of central Qld has been breath taking. I admire the farmers and their hardwork and dedication to the land.

I'm free to be me and this is one happy Campette 😁 xx

This is what 42 years of friendship looks like. The two Amanda's 🤩 we have been friends since primary school and although we had a gap where we couldn't find each other... We finally did a few years back!!! Love you beauty always and forever friend 💓

Epic Campettes weekend away to granite gorge. So much fun playing cards, eating way to much food, staring at the stars, swimming in the fresh gorge, playing with woobolies, sleeping in my new swag tent and enjoying nature's gifts. Thankyou whispering Pines!! And to my travel buddies 💜🩷💜

I totally LOVE where I work.... Each day that I come into the Wellness Centre I feel at peace, nurtured and calm. Spending time looking out to the healing land fills the nature cup daily. Thanks for having me in this space !!
