Stella Timepieces is a multi-brand distributor of watches manufactured by independently owned Swiss and Japanese watch companies. We distributes these brands through selected watch and jewellery retailers within Australia and New Zealand. We, at Stella Timepieces, have a dream about building a multi-brand watch distribution and support businesses not only to fill a gap in the marketplace where unique brands are missing, but to grow the support that otherwise would not be available for watchmakers and jewellers. With the help of a our dedicated team and partners, this dream continues to grow from strength to strength. With an honest passion for watches, stemming from a family of watchmakers, Stella Timepieces is a dedicated advocate of the superior craftsmanship and quality, with service at the heart of all we do, whether it is our retail partners, end consumers or the service centre that we run in house, we ensure each experience with us and our products is positive. Meet the TACS SOODA. 🐼☀️

Its name brings together solar and panda, and the playful dial makes the connection clear: the panda’s “eyes” are also the watch’s solar cells.

There’s more to those eyes than meets the eye. The left sub-dial shows the power reserve, while the right displays the time in 24-hour format. A date window sits neatly at 6 o’clock.

Inside, a Japanese Miyota VS57 solar movement offers up to 90 days of power reserve when fully charged. The 38 mm polished stainless steel case is paired with a domed K1 hardened mineral crystal and 50 m water resistance.

Thoughtful design, a little character, and a clever way to keep time.

On the Schwarz Etienne 1902 GMT, every surface reveals the manufacture’s commitment to high watchmaking. Six bridges with polished angles and concave bevels unfold across a finely sandblasted and rhodium-plated main plate, decorated with concentric circular Côtes de Genève.
The ratchet wheel features a sunray finish highlighted by a hand-polished drop, while the micro-rotor carries a chevron motif inspired by the surrounding pine forests and landscapes of the Jura mountains.
Together, these details express the harmony between mechanical performance and artisanal vision.
