“It’s just a battery change. How hard can it be?”

Exhibit A.

This component lives tucked away inside a Casio timepiece, where it isn’t readily accessible. Judging by the result, the challenge appears to have been:

“How do I mangle this when I can’t even get to it?” 🤦‍♂️

We admire the determination. The technique… less so.

Despite appearances, this is a precision watch component, not an entry in the miniature origami championships.

A simple battery replacement can become a considerably less simple repair when enthusiasm exceeds expertise.

Yes. We thought the name A.J. Watch Repairs might have given it away. 😏

• Battery replacements
• Bracelet sizing and link adjustments
• Pressure testing and re-sealing
• Crystal, crown and stem replacement
• Case and bracelet refinishing
• Quartz and mechanical servicing
• Movement repairs, overhauls and replacements

So yes—we can remove a link or replace a battery. We also perform the far more complicated work that requires trained watchmakers, specialised equipment and considerably more than a tiny screwdriver.

From everyday maintenance to intricate Swiss movements, it’s all handled professionally and in-house. Got a brand not listed on our website no problem, we’ll handle it.

Beautiful finishing isn’t reserved for the dial.

Inside this Seiko automatic movement, the finely machined surfaces, patterned bridges and contrasting ruby jewel create a miniature mechanical landscape—hidden away beneath the caseback.

Most owners will never see this view. Fortunately, watchmakers get the best seats in the house.

A lovely reminder that true craftsmanship continues well beyond what can be seen from the outside.
