This is what I ended up with, what started out as quite a large rough, soon enough became this awesome emerald mix cut Australian sapphire, I had to remove quite a lot of material as the rough had a lot of tiny fractures which were not visible until the preforming stage - this stone was cut down the green axis so the dominant colour you see here is green. Step cut pavilion with a radiant crown. Weighs 3.72ct
Measures 10mm x 7.5mm x 4.8mm

Check this rough Australian blue sapphire out, 21ct and such a lovely bright blue, still need to saw some bits off as there are a few small fractures but I got a feeling it’s gonna be an absolute spunker!
