From the Madan ore field, Rhodope Mts, Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria.
A nice group of gemmy quartz crystals to 1cm long studded with grey cubes of Galena to 0.8 cm and partly gemmy, red-brown Sphalerite to 1cm. A classic piece from this locality. The underside is mostly calcite which has a pink fluorescence under LW UV.

From the Mud Tank Zircon Field, Alcoota Station, Strangways Range, Central Desert Region, Northern Territory, Australia.
A single sharply terminated, partly gemmy, brown Zircon crystal. Possibly twinned. Well terminated crystals are not common from Mud Tank. The crystal faces have good lustre and sharp definition. These have been dated at 732 million years old. Strong yellow fluorescence in LW UV. Like most of these, there is internal fracturing and partly etched on the base.

From the 10120 level, North Main Lode Gossan, Endeavor Mine (Elura Mine), Cobar, Robinson Co., New South Wales, Australia.
An unusual, royal blue to purple Turgite with a splash of rainbow colours on one side of an ironstone matrix. I have not seen another one like this. These specimens are best displayed in good light to bring out the colour of the Turgite. From the March 26 finds of the northern upper main lode gossan on the 10120 level. This has all been mined now.

A solid piece with full spectrum, rainbow Turgite, partly coating both sides of a haematite rich ironstone matrix. One side has a gold colour coating stalactites of Goethite. These specimens are best displayed in good light to bring out the colour of the Turgite. From the March 26 finds. sadly all gone now.
