New ring, made by magic!
About 3 hours of wizardry including fire, rolling, hammering, filing, sawing, sanding and polishing. Simple!
I spent about 25 minutes spent trying to make the reel more magical, but I'm a jeweller not a videographer!

Today was my first official day back for 2026.

Lots of jobs are already lined up and new ones were taken in today.

This year I'm looking forward to more of the things I've always done: creating new treasures out of old ones, repairing and restoring well loved treasures; and hopefully playing around with some new ideas.

Pop in any time on a Monday, Thursday or Friday; or make an appointment for a Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm appointment only on those other days so I can get into the zone and get a good amount of work done.

Phew! Made it!

Work has been plentiful and interesting. I'm so grateful that I get to do a creative and fulfilling craft for a living.

I'm having a big break and will be back to normal on the 3rd of Feb.

Have a safe and happy break if you're lucky enough to get one at this time of year.

When your client has a picture on an old valuation and says we lost this, can you make another one and use this gold from my Dad's wedding ring, you say, absolutely!

I'm thrilled with how this one turned out. Hand pierced and carved Celtic knot pattern in white gold, flanked by my clients gold.

As usual, various progress pics are missing cos I just get in the zone!

It's for Christmas, but he keeps putting on!
