I finally got brave this week and attempted to flush set this argentium silver ring. 💎
I’d been holding off because this gem setting malarkey is still very new and I really didn’t want to waste this much silver or this many sapphires!
Happy to say we got there in the end.
Its still taking a ridiculously long time but hopefully speed will come soon. It is an exacting process.
It would also be much faster if I didnt have to spend so long on hands and knees looking for dropped gems. 🤦‍♀️

Just about to polish up this latest creation! What a gorgeous argentium silver and natural sapphire ring band. If I do say so myself. 😁
There has been more flush setting this week. Still a steep learning curve but enjoying the ride… mostly!

Something very special will be making a debut this weekend ☺️

The photos do not do it justice. I’m so proud of this piece. Chain making is an exacting process and at rough calculation approximately 77 solder points make up this chain. And I didn’t melt any links or solder any together 🙌 Soldering is not always my strong suit so this was an achievement! ☺️

The design for this piece is inspired by old Victorian guard chains. It is 1.2m long and made from a combination of argentium silver and sterling silver. While you can wear it singly like an opera length chain it is designed to be wrapped twice to show off all the handcrafted scroll work links.

This one will be a hard one to let go of. ❤️
