Restored With Strength in Mind

When the top of this ring came away, the damage revealed something important about its original construction.

The top section had only been secured at two points on either side, with no support underneath — leaving it more vulnerable to impact and future damage.

So rather than simply reattaching it, our jeweller added a reinforcing bar underneath to give the setting greater strength and support.

It’s a small detail you may never notice when wearing the ring, but it can make a big difference to how well the repair lasts.
