Meet Jayne 👋

If you’ve visited Greenwood Jewellers over the past 12 years, chances are you’ve met our Jayne.

As one of our talented on-site jewellers, Jayne is the go-to person for jewellery repairs, restorations, resizing and adjustments. She works closely with Liz to ensure our customers treasured pieces receive the care and attention they deserve.

One of the most rewarding parts of her role is seeing a customer’s reaction when they collect a much-loved piece that has been professionally repaired, cleaned and polished, ready to be worn and enjoyed once again.

When she’s not in the workshop or assisting customers in-store alongside Liz, Jayne is a busy mum of three, an active volunteer with her local car club, and a devoted animal lover. The newest addition to her family is Snoopy, an adorable dachshund who has quickly become the baby of the household. 🐾

Whether you have a ring that needs resizing, a treasured piece that needs repairing, or jewellery that could use a little TLC, Jayne is always happy to help.

Meet Liz 👋
Jewellery and design are ingrained in Liz’s DNA. As co-owner of Greenwood Jewellers alongside Jim and Cheryl Irwin, she has grown up surrounded by fine jewellery, creativity, and craftsmanship.

With 18 years of jewellery design experience, Liz specialises in custom jewellery, engagement rings, and jewellery remodelling. Whether you’re redesigning a cherished heirloom or creating a piece from scratch, she’ll help bring your vision to life.

Outside the store, Liz is an active member of the local netball community and enjoys travel, landscape photography and cake decorating, creative passions that inspire her designs.

Ever wondered what happens to your old gold?

At Greenwood Jewellers, your jewellery transformation starts with a few simple steps 💍

1️⃣ Design Consultation
Meet with Elizabeth (Liz) our designer to discuss your custom ring design and bring your vision to life. You are supplied with a job ticket 🎟️ after the appointment

2️⃣ Gold Pour
Your old gold is carefully melted down at our in store workshop using a crucible and microtorch until fully molten. 🔥

3️⃣ Ingot Mould
The molten gold is poured into an ingot mould, where it cools and sets into a solid gold bar.

4️⃣ Jeweller Handcrafting
The gold bar is then passed to one of our jewellers to begin handcrafting your brand-new custom piece ✨

5️⃣ Manufacturing Process
Custom jewellery remodelling usually takes around 8–12 weeks depending on the design, materials, and complexity.

6️⃣ Final Touches
If additional gold is needed, we’ll provide a quote to ensure your dream piece is created perfectly ✨
