Freshly framed fantasy taxidermy faerie!

This little one has many organic features including sulawesi butterfly wings and antenna, sycamore seeds, chicken feathers, and bottlebrush seeds and is surrounded by native paper daisies, Amethyst, and chicken feathers.
The faerie body is hand sculpted using hot glue and paper mache.
Also teef because faeries bite 🧚
The skirt is made from chicken feathers, and the necklace is bottlebrush seeds that I drilled by hand to turn into beads.

I am trying to incorporate as many organic components as I can to my faeries so that they are all one of a kind and unable to be mimicked using AI or 3D printing.

I'd love to know what you all think of the new design and the addition of head hair 😊

Hey guys!
Long time without posting, I'm sorry!
My life has been a bit much lately and I didn't have many spoons 😅
Some ongoing new medical drama as well as some big things in my personal life.

Two of those big new things in my life are these two furry babies!
One of my dogs passed away from cancer last year, and I finally found the perfect new puppy to fill that hole in my heart. This tiny bundle of fluff is Taetoe (my other dogs name is Pumpkin). She's an absolute delight and we love her so much.
To get her we went on a family road trip, then when we got back and were all loving on our new puppy, a small cat walked past our back door. Which is really weird because we live on 200 acres of bushland. We thought it was probably feral and set a trap. When we caught him it became very obvious very quickly that he is not a feral. He's so sweet and affectionate. Took him to the vets, no microchip and the vets guessed he's about 5 months old. Just a baby. So we took him back home to think about what we should do.

We did not plan on adopting a puppy and a kitten on the same day.

My daughter fell in love with him, and he is very gentle and affectionate with her. While also being silly and loves to play with the puppy. So we decided he was meant to be and we're keeping him. His name is Balin.
We believe he was dumped with some siblings as we saw two others of a similar appearance dead on the highway on the same week. Very sad.

But, two new family members in one day 😊

I love making bug friends. I've never befriended a fly before, but this giant docile fly let me handle it over and over. No idea what sort of fly it is, but its huge, docile, doesn't bite, is a shiny irredescent green with a transparent empty looking abdomen and a fuzzy butt 🪰

It's hard to imagine anyone having the spare cash to buy any art right now. But I'll keep making it anyway (until I run out of supplies and can't get more I guess)

This is a new range I'm working on. My aim is to have 3 versions of my faeries; skeletal, mummified and taxidermy.
