Shield of a Rider of Rohan, The last of the 3 Middle Earth shields I was working on. This shield has a timber core faced with linen on the front and back, edged in veg tanned leather and shoulder strap. Fitted with a steel centre boss. The shield has a custom white horse of Rohan brightly panted on its face. Its available. Vaughn

Erebor Treasure shield.
This shield crafted by the dwarves of Erebor lay hidden in the dragons Treasure hoard until the wyrms death. It has a timber core with a brass nasal and eyes, the body and edge of the shield are veg tanned leather, The shield has been decorated with brass studs and finished with gold leaf. The back features a padded sheepskin armrest, leather straps topped with cast bronze faces. Its currently available. Vaughn.

SNAKE ..this began as a short legnth of 4mm diameter stainless steel rod that I hot-forged (blacksmithing), then coated with wax and engraved the surface before sandcasting in bronze , I refined that casting to act as the new master and recast it in Sterling silver and set it up as a brooch… The other bronze and the stainless steel one will become pendants, with a bail on the tail.
