Friday has snuck up on us quite quickly this week! Time for a little Fab Friday post.
Philanthropist W. Clement Moore once said "Aim for the moon, if you miss you may hit a star". This gorgeous pair of gold wedding bands with hand engraved stars and moon detail were commissioned by our clients. Remade using their gold, designed and made by Jai.

A slightly different story for this one. This ring started its life as plain gold band from a family member. Jai has transformed it with some cleverly designed engraving to give it a whole new personality! Stunning detail to surely become treasured again into the future. The moral of this story is that not all jewellery has to be made completely from scratch.

Time for our Fab Friday feature! Showcasing some of the wonderful things we get to make here in our workshop.
Beginning with a really lovely 3 Diamond remake. Featuring precious family stones along with a new diamond to make the trio, and created with recycled gold from various items. Crafted by Jane into a solid split band and sturdy bezel setting. Up cycling your gold is not only cost effective, it's kinder on our environment!

Opal is often described as "nature's kaleidoscope". Displaying a beautiful natural play of colour that no there gemstone can replicate, opals are highly prized and sought after. This fine example of fiery colour was taken from one piece of jewellery and transformed into another. This can sometimes be a risky business, as opal can be hiding flaws and cracks not always visible. But look at the end result.

It's Fab Friday!!! Time to share a few things that have left the workshop in recent times. Give some of you ideas and inspiration to have your own special creation made. Like this amazing pearl ring. Another up cycled gold project, featuring a large Mabe pearl as the central focus, with two diamonds for a little sparkle✨. Set on an extra wide band , designed to maximise the gold content and frame the pearl, the true star of the show.

This lovely diamond trilogy ring is a perfect example of combining old and new. Crafted from up cycled gold and two repurposed diamonds. We have added a new diamond into the mix to complete the trilogy and balance out the different sized old stones. A classic design, often symbolic of "past, present and future" we love bringing a little bit of the past into the present.

This glorious garnet glows in this lovely yellow gold multi band design. Made from up cycled gold and repurposed stones. This design gives the illusion of multiple rings stacked but will always sit perfectly on the hand. The garnet is definitely the hero of this design, with the diamonds just adding a little extra sparkle.
