During lockdown in 2020, I painted hundreds of rocks and decorated them with glitter and positive sayings to try and cheer people up. When lockdown happened in 2021, I started making keyrings, jewellery and ‘Kindness and Positivity Kits’ for the community. The kits have items to helps people with positivity and self-confidence so they feel they are beautiful and awesome just the way they are, as well as items that will encourage and inspire people to be super kind to others. The name of the business ‘Smile Sparkle Shine Love Ellie’, is about people smiling more, sparkling on the inside and out as well as shining brighter by being kind to others. All of my handmade keyrings and jewellery items include a motivational card and items to promote these ideas. “I hope that by spreading kindness and positivity to people, they will pass on the same thing to others and we can all spread great things more and more!”
