Love cutting opal, but find selling the finished stones harder? Selling is a skill you can learn too.

This historical example shows the same finished opal sold for US$106 on Opal Auctions, then US$350 on Reddit after it was returned. Those are sale prices, not profit. There is no guarantee of similar results, and this is not proof of profit from cutting rough.

This is one small part of a fresh Coober Pedy parcel — and every single piece is going into a No Reserve auction.

G'day — the Lightning Ridge opal festival is nearly here, so I've put more than 1,300 no-reserve auctions up in the shop to clear the shelves and help fund the buying trip. No reserve means the crowd sets the price, not me. Rough for cutters, cut stones for jewellers, all graded so you know what you're getting before you bid.
