A very rare 17th century Britannia Standard Silver Chamberstick, London 1697.

Made by Isaac Davenport, the chamberstick handle exhibits a strong similarity to Trefid Spoons of the period, apt perhaps as Davenport was known as a specialist spoon maker.

This form of chamberstick is extremely rare in silver and was made for a short period of time only.

A rare and desirable piece of 17th century silver.
