The first drop of Christmas acrylics has landed online! ✨

There are a few more pieces (in green) coming towards the end of the month, so keep your eyes peeled!

As always with my festive collections, I’ve designed these pieces to be versatile enough to wear all year round, because earrings shouldn’t be limited to just one month of the year, right?!

A bittersweet moment today. 🤍

I’ve been battling tendonitis in my wrists for most of this year — one of the downsides of working with your hands (and being ridiculously hypermobile!). I gave my hands a good break mid-year and really hoped they’d had enough time to recover.

Over the past couple of months I’ve slowly gotten back into clay, but unfortunately the pain has started creeping back in, along with some symptoms that could possibly be carpal tunnel.

Today I sat here and took this photo right before I started sanding earrings, not really knowing how my hands were going to cope…

Let’s just say, it wasn’t good. 😔

So, I’m going to listen to my body and take another break from clay over the coming weeks. Instead, I’ll be working on acrylic earrings, which are much kinder on my hands — and, luckily, I’ve just received some absolutely beautiful pieces for my Christmas collection. EKKK!

And for anyone else who has experienced carpal tunnel or ongoing wrist/hand pain from making, I’d absolutely love to hear what helped you. 💕
