🍂 It's Officially Busy Season at Woven Wilds! 🦊

The end-of-year rush has well and truly begun, and my appointment calendar is filling up faster than ever. And yes, I am panicking just a tiny bit but that's ok. We got this. Right? Right? 😅

At the moment, I'm booking approximately 2–3 weeks in advance, with weekend appointments being particularly popular and often filling even further ahead.

And believe it or not, December is already around 50% booked. So if you are wanting to see me for a Christmas appointment, please make sure to book it in advance.

And whilst I have everybody and we are on the topic of Christmas Chaos, I wanted to give a little reminder about last-minute bookings...

I absolutely love being able to squeeze you lovely humans in wherever I can, but as we head into the busiest time of the year, my last-minute availability is becoming increasingly limited.
I've been receiving a lot of requests for appointments for same day or within 2-3 days appointments, and while I genuinely wish I could accommodate everyone, there are only so many hours in the day (and only one of me!).

If you have a particular date, time or weekend in mind, please book ahead rather than waiting until you're due for your next appointment.

I completely understand that life gets busy and sometimes appointments sneak up on us, but unfortunately, I can't guarantee availability at short notice or create extra spaces once my calendar is full.

The best way to check for appointments or last minute openings is by jumping online and checking the calendar as I may not get to your message in time before it's gone or, in the case of same day requests, I may not see the message until the day is already over.

Thank you all so much for keeping my little studio so wonderfully busy. Your ongoing love and support mean the world, and I can't wait to see you all throughout the silly season! 🧡

A little flashback to one of my favourite projects today because I have been so busy that I've forgotten a lot of photos OR my stupid finger was in the cameras way. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyways! I absolutely loved getting creative with this one. It's been a while since I've had the chance to play around with some more decorative styling, but I think it might be time to bring a few projects like this back into the studio soon. Keep an eye out for when I do that. 👀

In the meantime, my October calendar is getting pretty cosy! I have a handful of appointments remaining for maintenance or braids before the month wraps up.

Whenever a client comes in for Braid-In dreadlocks cause they want to try them before they commit, I won't lie, I place bets on how long it'll take to hear back from them. 9 times out of 10 I hear back within 48 hours that they want to take the leap because they love them so much.
And that's exactly what happened here!

This lovely human decided to take the plunge into natural dreadlocks after giving braid-in dreadlocks a try first. She loved them that much that she opted for a permanent install plus using her old braid-in extensions to add a tiny bit of length and these gorgeous curly tails.

Sometimes all it takes is a little trial run to know what you want.

Just a little heads-up that things are a bit hectic behind the scenes at the moment!
I've got quite a lot happening both personally and professionally at the moment. Which has, of course, meant that my health has taken a hit as well.

I'm doing my best to keep up with everyone, but between appointments, messages, booking requests and everything else going on, I'm struggling a little to keep all the plates spinning. I thought I was a diva who could push through and do it all but I am once again being reminded there is limited time in the day to be able to do all of the tasks PLUS rest and recover.
So if you've noticed I'm a little quieter than usual, taking longer to reply or just not quite my usual self, please don't take it personally! I promise I'm not ignoring anyone. I'm just a little stretched thin for a little bit but it'll be back on track soon. I hope (body permitting).

If you're wanting to book an appointment, please use my online booking system wherever possible. It's the quickest way to secure your spot without having to wait for me to get back to you.
Bookings are going faster than I can keep up with on a good day with messages let alone whilst my hands are spread across an insane range of tasks. 😆 I have not quite figured out how to clone myself yet.

The crazy rush for appointments has begun!

October is already very close to fully booked (yep, most of those days with little ❗on them have only one spot left), and appointments heading into the pre-Christmas rush are starting to disappear too.

If you’re hoping to get any dreadlock maintenance, braiding, extensions or other hair work done before the end of the year, I strongly recommend booking ahead rather than waiting until the last minute.
Christmas is always an insanely busy time for hair/beauty technicians and since these last six months have seen a massive increase in demand for dreadlocks and braids, I'm expecting my books to fill up quicker than they ever have before.

I’ll always do my best to squeeze people in where I can, but there are only so many appointments in the calendar and once they’re gone, they’re gone. I'm no wizard, unfortunately. 😞

So if you know you’ll be wanting an appointment in October, November or December, now is definitely the time to get it locked in.

IT’S OFFICIALLY NEW NAME TIME. 🥳🎉

As of today, Evelyn Jade Creations is officially Woven Wilds Hair.

Nothing really changes because it's still the same me, same studio, same dreadlocks and braids. Just a new name that feels much more like the right one. Along with our cute new mascot friendo. What do we name him, folks? 🦊

You’ll start seeing Woven Wilds Hair popping up everywhere (like these gorgeous new gift certificates) from here on out.
And eventually Facebook, whenever Facebook finally decides to approve my page name change. 😆 Cause that's a whole thing right now but I'm working on it!

I’ve pulled out some Halloween beads as we creep closer to goth Christmas, because even dreadlocks deserve seasonal accessories to celebrate the best time of the year.
Yep, I said it! Halloween is peak. Fight me on it. 😆
