Every so often a stone comes through the studio that stops me in my tracks. This Ceylon sapphire is one of them. That electric blue isn't enhanced, it's just exceptional colour straight from the earth.
I set it into a custom gents ring in 18ct white gold, with an 18ct yellow gold lift for contrast, and hand-detailed the shoulders with a Navajo-inspired design. Every line cut and shaped by hand.
This is the kind of work I love most: one-of-a-kind pieces, made properly, from scratch.
