More about Jeanette:
Jeanette trained for 9 years as a Gold and Silversmith in England, Germany and Australia. In 1993 she gained her Masters Degree in Gold and Silversmithing from the Royal College of Art in London. She set up her first workshop in Battersea, London in the same year, then in 1996 she moved to Australia and settled on the edge of the Yarra Valley in Melbourne. Still there today, Jeanette works from her stone cottage at the romantic artist's retreat of Montsalvat in Eltham, which is one of Australia's oldest creative colonies. Driven by a passion for her work, Jeanette creates pieces which are contemporary in design and are always exquisitely unique. She is committed to creating works of high standard and carefully executes one-off and limited editions in gold, silver, pearls and precious stones. Specialising in press forming and fusing, each piece is individually hand crafted with a devotion to detail. Jeanette's work is represented in public and private collections worldwide.
