I'm taking the next few days slow as I am still recovering.

This coming weekend I am home and we are preparing for my lovely hubby to have heart surgery on June 2nd.

Responses to emails and enquiries may be a little slower than normal but I'm still working around the edges of caring for my family during the week.

Weekends I am teaching, and I have a few spaces in these classes if you want to come and learn and play.

I also can't wait to come to Canberra mid June heart❤️🐌❤️

This was supposed to be my view, my triumphant 30k walk when training and dedication pays off.

Sadly my team mate is walking alone and I am pledging to walk the same track later in the year.

I wanted this to be my "over coming the odds" post.

But life humbled me.

I have been unwell this week, and the older wiser me had to accept a slow recovery.

If I could get better by will power alone I would be there.

But life with fibromyalgia has taught me that if I push through I will be worse. That I probably could push through, would prefer to mentally but physically the pain would be immense.

So instead I am at home. Sulking and feeling sorry for myself, following .tap.trek progress and supporting her from afar.

If there is one thing I have learnt with fibro its to treat myself gently.

I am not beaten; I will walk the 30k but in my own time when I am better.

Today there are so many people walking for . I am pledging to all those who supported my fund-raising that I will still rise to the challenge when I am able.

I love all the textures, I surround myself with ceramics in my studio, and introduce them in my pieces. This texture spa...
