I scoured the internet, translated old Japanese websites, and pieced together the story of Gina Garan, Junko Wong, and original Allison Katzman designer behind Blythe. From the original 1972 Kenner release to the Japanese revival that turned Blythe into a worldwide collector phenomenon, this mini documentary is a love letter to the dolls and the people who brought them back to life.
