Pieces of Eight Pieces of Eight is a contemporary jewellery and small object gallery in Melbourne, Australia.

We specialise in creating bespoke precious rings, working as a conduit between our clients and artists to create pieces of significance. The gallery is located in Melbourne's iconic Royal Arcade, the oldest surviving arcade in Australia. It runs from Bourke Street to Little Collins St, parallel to Elizabeth Street. Find us under the clock at Shop 27, hosted within the Melanie Katsalidis retail store.

Celebrating your love with two beautiful parti sapphire rings — the Parti Sapphire Harmony Ring by Melanie Katsalidis and a bespoke Julia Storey Parti Sapphire Wild Harmony Ring. Unique, vibrant, and perfectly paired, just like the two of you.

When Brie first visited the gallery, she immediately fell in love with Melanie Katsalidis’ Petit Harmony ring. Not long after, Mel came in and found herself completely captivated by Julia Storey’s Wild Harmony ring. The best part? When they realised that both rings shared “Harmony” in their names, they couldn’t stop laughing. It felt like a perfect coincidence and a beautiful reflection of their connection.

Created for our La Grand Fête exhibition during Melbourne Design Week, the Blueberry Pancake Ring is a playful yet exquisitely crafted celebration of colour, texture, and imagination. Undulating bands of 14ct rose gold flow around a mirror-polished centre of 18ct yellow gold, reminiscent of melting butter cascading across a freshly made pancake.

Hand-detailed rivers radiate from the centre, while polished valleys are adorned with rich Ceylon blue sapphires and brilliant white diamonds, creating a miniature landscape of light, movement, and colour. A truly unique piece that transforms an everyday delight into wearable art.
