You know what makes jewellery truly special?
In my opinion, it has nothing to do with the price… although the jewellery I make is priced to reflect the time, skill and precious materials that go into creating pieces designed to last for generations.
This little bracelet, though? It’s priceless.
My daughter made it for me at school and gave it to me with the biggest smile on her face. 🥹 She was so excited that they were making jewellery “just like Mum does for work.” She couldn’t wait to tell her classmates that her mum is a jeweller, and seeing how proud she was absolutely melted my heart.
I’m wearing it to football today, and I honestly couldn’t love it more. 🤍
It reminded me that what makes jewellery meaningful isn’t its value… it’s the story behind it.
Most of the pieces I create are chosen by someone who loves the person they’re buying for. Around 90% are gifts to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, milestones or simply to say, “I love you.” The other 10% are people choosing something for themselves… because we all deserve to wear something that makes us feel special. ✨
One thing I’ve loved noticing over the last couple of years is how many of my customers are men thoughtfully choosing gifts for the people they love. Fathers buying meaningful pieces for their daughters’ 18th or 21st birthdays, husbands and partners celebrating anniversaries… it’s incredibly special to be trusted with creating those gifts.
I feel so lucky that the jewellery I make becomes part of so many treasured memories. 💫
