Forget 5ct Friday, this is 5kg Friday!

Maybe not quite 5kg, almost an ounce, indeed a very solid and heavy 18k yellow gold bracelet, especially made to celebrate the first grandchild, and all the other grandchildren yet to come….

Theres something about hand made links, you can see it, you can certainly feel it, but it’s incredibly difficult to put into words exactly what it is.

Theres love, there’s a tactile difference, a feeling, a premium quality energy that radiates from the piece.

Sea Witch meets Forest Fairy.

☝🏻this was my brief and I loved it!

A vibe, a theme, a direction, and a whole lot of trust.

This is where magic happens.

It’s all I need (and all I want) to get my imagination running, and look at what happened.

Sea Witch - A dark and moody hexagonal sapphire displaying colour change properties in different lights, from deep green to dark grey with flashes of purple, with some accent diamonds and made in white gold.
Forest Fairy - A Padparadscha pear cut sapphire, light and fiery, in a delicate v shaped yellow gold ring with a scattering of magical diamonds.

Did I hit the brief?!

My scarab beetle pendant.
Aqua blue Sapphire body, wings open entangled in leaves, rolling an Argyle 5p pink diamond dung ball.

Very meaningful to me, but find whatever meaning in it that you see fit.

Fine flame control in the left hand whilst adding surface protector with the right hand, easy!
The game of chasing tiny balls of solder around the heating block - sometimes winning and sometimes not winning.

Mum’s diamond never looked so good! Surrounded by Fi’s own engagement and wedding diamonds, we’ve created quite the showstopper for her.

It’s Friday,
and that means we take a look at another spectacularly intricate piece recently finished.

Mums diamond in the center and as many of Fiona’s diamonds we could possibly fit surrounding it.
And because she LOVES dots, we millgrained everything that could be millgrained. All the little dots!

There’s a B for Belinda and an H for Haydn. Tricky to see the B in this orientation, but I’m sure you’ll spot the H.

You’ll often catch me with teary eyes when you expresses your love for a piece I’ve made.

It’s here! Friday has arrived!

That means we can all take a moment to enjoy this ruby and diamond ring I made to celebrate Belinda and Haydn’s 40th wedding anniversary.
A collection of significant jewels worn over the years have all been combined into this one celebration ring.
