UPCOMING MARKETS 🌼

I have been busily creating away to restock all of your faves as well as new designs for you to browse at our upcoming markets!

Next Saturday you will find us inside the trade hall at the Murray Bridge Show from 9am-9pm. We are pretty much in the same spot as we were last year and we are on the Bunyip Trail again so come along and say hi!

From the 1st-8th of October we will be participating in Australian Online Small Business Market. Halloween market alongside some other wonderful small businesses. You can shop in the comfort of your own home as this market is completely online. More details on this to come this week.

Finally, on the long weekend, we will be heading to Stansbury for the Stansbury Seaside Market on Saturday 3rd of October. This market is one of my favourites to do every year, with the sunshine, sea views and the crowds being such a vibe!

It's been so long since I posted on here, but I thought it was time to let you know why I've been so MIA for the past few months!

Aside from the odd custom order, I haven't really made anying new since my last market which was back in May, mainly because something other than clay has been baking at the Rothery household!

We are expecting a baby boy to join us in December! 💙

The past few months have been exhausting, struggling with shoulder bursitis, as well as pregnancy, working my day job and in truth, just having a bit of a creative block when it comes to making.

I am hoping that this is starting to clear as I still have 2 maybe 3 markets left in me before this little guy joins us, one of which is only about a month away so I really need to get my butt into gear.

I do hope to post more in the lead up to these markets, including new earrings for everyday, a few Halloween designs and Christmas which is fast approaching.

Thank you for still being here, the orders and compliments on my work mean the world to me and my little family and I cannot wait to get back in my creative zone ❤️

Thought it was time to reintroduce myself to all of our new followers and those who don't know me.

Hello 👋

I am the Kayla behind Kayla-Made Creations 😊

I am 30 years old and handmake the polymer clay earrings and accessories you love from my home studio in Murray Bridge, South Australia.

I am mum to my energetic 5 year old Jude and our fur babies Bandit the Blue Heeler, and cats Frankie and Nebula who keep me on my toes. My husband Jamie is also very supportive of me, despite my crafting space taking over half his computer room 😅. I also manage our busy local post office during the week (where you can also find some of my earrings on display and for sale!)

I'm an elder emo so in my free time, you may find me hanging out at a concert 🤘 I love heavy rock and metal music which is usually what I am jamming to when creating. Owls and sunflowers are my 'things', which is why I incorporate them into alot of my earrings.

My love for jewellery making started when I was 13 and my grandparents bought me a jewellery making kit. From there I collected an assortment of glass beads and took classes to learn the skills required. I progressed over the years however it wasnt until the birth of my son that I really got back into it, switching glass beads for polymer clay and have not looked back since.

Each part of the creative process is so therapeutic to me. I love taking a design from an idea, all the way to the final product. Seeing pieces I have created out in the wild (on my lovely customers) is still such a pinch me moment 🥹. I am so grateful for all the love and support I get for Kayla-Made and for all of the wonderful people I have met since I started.

What a year 2025 has been!

This little business has grown so much this year between markets, instore and online, and I am so thankful for all of our new customers and for our return customers who continue to support us ❤️ I still have little 'pinch me' moments every time I am out and about and see you lovely people wearing earrings that I created 🥹 All of your reviews, comments and messages truly just make my day!

This year has been tough for a lot of small businesses and families and the fact that so many of you have fit Kayla-Made Creations into your budget is something that I am so grateful for, so from my family to yours... THANK YOU ❤️❤️

I am taking this next week to tidy my very messy craft room (and all the other rooms that I end up expanding into 😅) and plan for next year. I am very excited to work on new styles and creations for 2026, however before I do, I need to make some more room in my stock boxes, so let's finish off the year with one last sale!!
