Another of the seemingly inexhaustible seventies Seiko funky timepieces for Every time you think you've seen the funkiest Seiko can offer, another one comes along. An awesome dial design that initially looks predominantly greyish, and that then comes to life when the light hits from different angles, almost like the heart of a black opal.

A Friday always has to be a and this King Seiko Vanac is a whole other level of funky. Considering it's also I had to make a slight variation to the tree theme because it was a bit too windy to trust a vintage watch with a crystal like this to a moving branch, so gentlemen I hope you will accept as a variation to the theme. As well as a well documented watch obsession, I also have a Monstera obsession, so one of my Monstera Thai Constellations agreed to stand in as a background for the watch.

A long weekend and yet I still had to set the alarm for an unreasonably early hour, but after being fortified by strong coffee and finding these two gems at the market, it was unquestionably worthwhile. Both in need of a bit of TLC, but very cool additions to the collection.
