Happy international women’s day from me and my mini✨
Women are both soft as lotus petals and strong like lions - that is our power.
In business that has served me well, my softness and empathy has led to the most beautiful connections with clients, you let me into your world and your stories and I help you make them into physical memory treasures, portals to hold your stories for future generations.
Then the brave, strong, fearless leadership side has had to co-exist for the business to materialize and be successful.
That is the life of a woman, always juggling.
Whether we choose to bring life into the world or not we are all mothering ourselves, cheerleading ourselves to keep going, be soft, be kind, be strong, be successful and leave the planet better than when we arrived.
When I gave birth this January everything changed again, another level of being a woman emerged, but the same principals apply. I hope to continue to build this beautiful business so one day she takes the reigns - maybe she won’t have to bang down so many doors in the industry because she was a girl and had no family in the business before her, fight off advances from male teachers, prove to diamond dealers she was the owner of the business and not just the assistant or many of the other steps it took to get here.
But as women we do one thing brilliantly- “feel the fear and do it anyway”.
