His studio was established in 1999, in the fashion design precinct of Darlinghurst, Sydney, In 2020 he did the pandemic pivot and relocated his business to his hometown, Port Macquarie. Working primarily with silver, gold and precious stones, Jason produces collections of work inspired by the materials and experime

nting at his bench. The general design rule is ‘less is more’ and he strives to reduce a design to its minimum components, emphasising the beauty of the materials. Work is handmade specifically for an event: birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, weddings and commitment ceremonies. Recycled necklace. I was asked to turn an old silver bracelet into a necklace for a client. He bought the bracelet as a young backpacker travelling through Morocco. Rather than 'melt down' or radically alter the bracelet ive just added black pearls, retaining the memories the bracelet brings to the piece.
