My parents deserve a post of their own 💖

Nine years of Lena Rose Designs wouldn’t have been possible without them beside me through it all.

When I decided to take a chance on myself and start a little handmade business, knowing I had my parents behind me gave me the support & security to take that leap.

Mum, thank you for believing in me, helping me, supporting me and always being there always.

Helping me make jewellery behind the scenes, getting up early, packing the car, setting up stalls and spending every weekend by my side at markets ~ she has been there for every single one of my events!

Dad, thank you for putting up with all my ideas for new displays, working with me to make my stall look better, and always somehow managing to make it all happen!

I know I’ve given you plenty of projects over the years, and I’m so grateful for all the time, patience and effort you’ve put into helping bring my ideas to life 👏🏽

I am so incredibly lucky to have the best parents backing me.

Nine years ago, I set up my very first market stall at Fig Tree Markets!🌳

When I think back to that first market stall, I never could have imagined where this little business would take me, the people I would meet, the friendships I would make, or that I would still be here creating new designs nine years later.

I want to sincerely thank every single person who has supported Lena Rose Designs along the way. To all of the amazing women who shop with me ~ I am so incredibly grateful for you!

Running a small business comes with plenty of late nights, lots of stress, hard work, uncertainty and quite a few leaps of faith, but having incredible women like you in my corner supporting me makes every single moment worth it.

One of my favourite things about my business has always been seeing the happiness a piece of jewellery can bring someone!✨

It isn’t just a simple piece of jewellery ~ jewellery has the power to make you feel a little more confident, a little more put together, or simply make you smile when you look in the mirror. And that feeling is something I will never take for granted!

It has been an incredible, constantly evolving journey over the past nine years with the many obstacles that have been thrown our way ~ and it absolutely would not have been possible without all of your support.

To our wonderful market organisers, thank you for the time, effort and commitment you put into creating markets where small businesses like mine can come together, connect with our customers and continue doing what we love.

And of course a huge thank you to all of my fellow stallholders ~ or my market family as I like to call you!

The friendships, support, encouragement, advice, laughs and care we have for one another is something really special. We’re all out here building our own little businesses, but there is such a beautiful sense of community between us, and I’m incredibly grateful to be part of it.

Thank you to every single one of you for believing in what I do, for choosing handmade, for supporting a small Australian business, and for allowing me to keep doing what I love so much.❤️
