Another update.

Sad news unfortunately, she will have to be PTS because of the most recent development with the foot.

All options were discussed and the decision was made in her best interest in mind. Surgery was discussed but the risks involved for a baby so young is too much to ignore. I was hoping if she survived and was well that when she was older and bigger I would get them removed but not now.

Xrays were done and I hope to post them when they come through to me.

She was healthy and happy all things considered up to this point but unfortunately her health and well being is now at risk.

Todays update on Ariel.

We have had a set back and currently at the vet.

It appears someone has been trying to "help" her and has started chewing off the feet of the parasitic twin 😢

She is currently being xray'd in hope if seeing what is going on and if she would be viable to have it removed. If not safe or viable euthanasia will be only other option as too risky to leave it be now.

Hopefully we can get a positive outcome.

Today's update for those who are following.

She is a very vocal baby.

This morning I had consulted with my vet about her and they agree on just monitoring and watching for any issues. They said at this age and size an xray would not be able show much as bones etc. So small but would like to revisit in a week or more if she continues to thrive. i don't know what her future holds but while she is active and thriving i will continue to look after her.

Today's update.

I got her out to try and establish some baselines for her.

I put her in there to see how she walked and used her functional legs. She was incredibly vocal about it, she is a very fiesty baby but missed on camera.

I was able to establish the parasitic twin is not functional with no reaction to sensation or movement.

When stimulating one if the vents the other appeared to produce urine. But still to establish if she can defecate.

She is still keeping up with her siblings and when put back with them and mum ran off to join them.

I would love her to be viable and be healthy so if she grows up to later get xrays to see for interest sake. Otherwise would be post mortem xrays.
