Silver on the rocks 🪨🌊

It's a working title 😅 this one prompts such specific images for me. Wave sloshing around semi submerged rocks. Shallow waters, rocks at a cliff base.

This sterling silver ring holds two cast in place, rough Queensland sapphires. One pink, one green. The colours you see when peering into a rock pool ✨️

There's so much s**t going on in the world, and I've been dealing with those feelings of doubt. Those "what's the point" feelings about creating art in the midst of such horror.

In the past, when I've felt like this, several people in my life (you know who you are) remind me of the importance of artistic creation in times like these.

Creating art, looking at art, buying art, sharing art, IS the rebellion ✊️

So I made this today. I strung each pearl by hand, counted each side. Chose the Citrine bead from a small collection, fixed the clasp and jump ring.

I made it strong. I made it to last. And it is beautiful ✨️

OCEANA

Inspired by my stay at Police Point in Portsea as the artist in residence. That secret beach whispered things to me, and I need to release them in metal and stone 🌊🐚✨️

To have been asked to make these, for a beautiful woman I call friend, for her and her two bridesmaids on her wedding day, is quite possibly the highlight of my jewellery making career thus far ✨️

Three Queensland sapphires for three Queensland women, coming together to celebrate love in ceremony ❤️

The Temple Pendant is coming to the website soon. In the meantime, DM to order or discuss customs enquiries 🤍

Happy Father's Day to all the gentle men, the nurturers and healers. The ones who use their strength to love, support and play. You are the best of men, an example of masculinity at it's most powerful. I am lucky to know so many of you 🤍

This is a tribute to the man who raises two little people alongside me, their little finger prints encased in silver. Casting this for you was an honour ✨️

Women's defence jewellery is, sadly, nothing new. I gifted one of these to my mum when she set off to Europe alone. Thankfully, its hidden purpose never had to be revealed. It remained an elegant, minimalist ring that adorned her hand for the duration of her trip. But she knew it was there if she needed it. A small, yet devastating companion ✨️

A shard of shell 🐚

Something broken, its purpose finished.
But not to me. I went to the beach in search of exactly this, and brought it home and gave it a new purpose.

Sterling silver with a tiny lab grown emerald, cast in place ✨

This will be a pendant, one I may struggle to part with 😅

My first successful shell cast 🐚🔥

A little lab grown sapphire in sterling silver. Sadly this was just a practice run and is going to be melted again. The shell is too big and used waaaayyyy too much silver, but now I know I can 💪

Stay tuned for some more ocean sand casts 🌊🐚✨

How the sun makes pearls glow 🌞

These are burnt orange freshwater pearls and one huge baroque as the statement within this statement piece 🤩

This one is finished with gold stainless steel findings making her super strong 💪

If you’re a black wearer like me, I highly recommend a string of coloured pearls. It is an absolute knockout combo ✨
