Distant journeys through parts of the world that deeply touch my heart and soul.
Finding community, sisterhood and a new inspiration of how and who I want to be.
This story is a story of belonging. Satmaya Spirit was born through a deep desire to belong, to share a vision and to connect the makers with the women who value natural and sustainable garments.
Each garment run through the hands of people with a story, with family and with a life that is painted in different colours than yours but still created by the same hands.
I was craving a connection deeper than what I can just see with my eyes, I want to learn the ways of the people that walk this planet in a different rhythm than me. I want to honour their ways and share the gifts that we can create together, by celebrating differences and honouring the same visions we have for a world that lives in unity and respect to all that is.

Let life be soft and slow, let me bloom in my own timing and let me see the things I can change. Xx

The scarab knows how stories end 🪷
not with silence, but with devotion and time.
It gathers what’s been used up, what’s been left behind,
and rolls it forward into the dark.

Every ending is a closed circle,
warm with unseen movement.
What looks like the last page
is only the place where transformation learns its name.

We are a bit quiet here at the moment while Satmaya Spirit is taking up a new shape, new stories, new weavings.

I can’t wait to connect more to our community again and expand into new connections, fabrics and journeys.

Bead by bead, I choose slowness.
Each one carries a pause, a breath, a whispered prayer resting between my fingers.
There is no rush here, only presence.
The gentle weight of the necklace reminds me to stay,
to listen,
to let time soften instead of slipping away.
In this small, repeated motion, devotion becomes simple and tender.
A prayer doesn’t need to be loud to be heard.
Sometimes it lives in patience,
in touch,
in the quiet act of moving forward one bead at a time.

We started setting up for Woodford folk festival today.
It’s beautiful to see how this beautiful village is growing for this one week and we get to celebrate in community.
