Kaz from BirdSong Silver Studio is back with Silversmith Beginners Workshops for 2026!
Next available date: JUNE 13th.
Minimum 4 folks.. Maximum 5 folks.
With 25 years of experience, Kaz is an enthusiastic tutor who loves to share these old time skills.

Join us in this one day, beginners workshop to play with Silver & Fire and learn how to make sterling silver jewellery!
We will cover all aspects of working with silver, including soldering, forming, filing, sawing, texturing, stamping and much more.
This class is aimed at beginners, as we have to learn the basics first! (after that anything is possible!)
We will go home with 2 finished pieces, being a hammered ring and a stamped bracelet.. hand crafted by you!
The total cost of the workshop is $350, this includes all materials and tuition.
There are only 5 places available in each workshop to insure plenty of individual attention.
To secure your booking I do require a deposit of $100 via D/D

The workshops will be held at the Landsborough CWA hall.
9am - approx 4pm, with an hour break for lunch.
Byo food & water, or there are cafe's and local tavern 2 mins walking distance.
All equipment supplied, just bring your creativity!
Just wear comfy clothes but no flowing sleeves.
If you would like to make one or both of the pieces for someone else please bring a piece to size it by or an accurate measurement and finally, if you do wear reading glasses don't forget to bring those too.
