๐ฆ A quick note about Australia Post delivery estimates
Weโve recently noticed that Australia Post has started displaying much longer estimated delivery times on some Express parcels. These estimates are often showing well over a week, which has understandably caused concern for some customers.
However, in most cases weโre seeing the parcels arrive much sooner than those estimates suggest โ sometimes even before customers contact us to ask about them.
We completely understand why seeing a long ETA can be worrying, especially if youโre buying a special gift. We just want to reassure everyone that the postal network is still moving quickly and most parcels are arriving within the normal timeframe.
At Baby Jewels we pride ourselves on very fast dispatch - much quicker than the industry standard.
Our official dispatch timeframe is up to 2 business days during busy periods, however we almost always ship much faster than that. Our current dispatch statistics are:
โจ 50% dispatched the same business day (orders placed before midday)
โจ 42% dispatched the next business day (orders placed after the midday cutoff)
โจ Only 8% dispatched within two business days
To ensure same-day processing, orders must be packed, booked and lodged before our 3pm post office cutoff so they make the 3:30pm Australia Post collection.
On the rare occasion an order is delayed beyond two business days, we will automatically upgrade the parcel to Express Post at no additional cost to the customer.
Once a parcel has been handed to Australia Post, the delivery timeframe is unfortunately outside of our control, and the ETAs shown in tracking are estimates rather than guarantees.
If you ever need an order by a specific date, we always recommend contacting us before placing the order so we can help advise the best option.
