Some pieces come together quickly. The Multi Bulles Necklace was one of them.

From the beginning, I knew I wanted it to feel bold enough to wear on its own, yet simple enough to become part of your everyday.

It’s one of those pieces that seems to work with almost everything. And years later, it’s still one of my favourites.

One of the highlights of the weekend at Handmade Market Canberra was seeing familiar faces like Susan stop by.

One of my favourite things about these events is reconnecting with people I’ve met over the years.

The customers who come by to say hello, share stories, show me the pieces they’ve been wearing for years, and sometimes add another piece to their collection.

After a while, many feel more like old friends than customers.

It’s something I never take for granted.

Alongside all the wonderful customers, there’s also an incredible community of makers, organisers and friends who make weekends like this so special.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by. My feet may have been tired by Sunday afternoon, but my cup was very full.

One thing I noticed over the weekend

So many of the conversations I had weren’t about dressing up or special occasions.

People were looking for pieces they could wear every day. Pieces that become part of their personal style. Part of the way they dress, move and live.

I always love hearing that.

Because for me, jewellery is at its best when it’s worn often and loved for years.
