Koda Field 'Medic' Diver... ^.^

Fitted with a 4R36 in the classic Willard case, this one is heading to the States where it will be worn on duty by a firefighter. He's putting it on a NATO strap and asked for a spare bezel with a more traditional insert for the odd occasion.

Seiko discontinued the SRPE69 a while ago. A shame really as the were a great base to do simple mods like this strap and lightning second hand swap. There are still some new ones kicking about but you really have to go hunting to find them.

Nothing wrong with enjoying a bit of nostalgia on your wrist. ^.^

Daniel was the Director of Operations for a golf team that won a championship in 2008. They received a gold ring and a cheap quartz watch with this dial in it. Years later he got the urge to rehouse the dial in a nicer case with an automatic movement.

It has made a perfect companion for the weekend trip to the driving range. 😁
